Sonar Bangla University will be a private varsity in West Bengal. The Eastern Institute For Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM), which has its all-India headquarters on Waterloo Street, has already purchased 30 acres in Baruipur on the outskirts of Kolkata to set up the integrated campus of Sonar Bangla University. The land was purchased for Rs 20 crore.
Sonar Bangla University will offer general degree courses in science, humanities, professional studies, bio-sciences and natural sciences. One of the innovative courses is spiritual sciences. It also also offer management courses, BTech and MTech.
